Technical Highlights of the Project:

Structural Building:
- Project building consists of six floors. The design of the building is a GREEN BUILDING, made in such way that minimum surface area is exposed to the Environment thereby reducing the Energy Loss and the typical Cubical Shape uses less no. of Panels saving the Capital Cost.
- Entire steel structure is fabricated from plate. Standard steel section is not used for the structure. This type of design saves the qty of steel and thereby saves cost of material and labors.
- The Structure of the Building is based on Steel Earthquake Tolerant Structure and the walls and roof are made of Imported Fireproof Sandwich PUF Panels.
- With this design, wide span (@ 6600 mm) is possible between two columns. This provides wide gaps and more space within the chambers.
- Entire flooring is made from steel square pipes for maximum usage life. (Normally, wooden batten is used for the purpose).
- The Chambers are Suitable for Storing Different Fruits, Vegetables, Dry Fruits, Food Grains etc., in a totally Hygienic Condition as the Individual Chamber can have Different Temperatures and Humidity Levels.
Insulation:
- Instead of Expanded poly styrene, XPS insulation is used for the floor insulation. It is expensive, but has batter insulation property and minimum moisture absorption rate.
- Entire building is made from FIRE SAFE puff panel which has maximum fire retardant property in case of real fire. This panel has property of executing minimum amount of smoke in case of real fire. This allowed to take required action in incase of real fire. This will provide maximum safety of entire plant against fire.
- In frozen chambers, hot water circulation system is provided to avoid cold crack in concrete.
Refrigeration Plant & Machinery:
- The entire refrigeration system is designed by using R717 (Ammonia) refrigerant which has zero ODP and natural refrigerant.
- All chambers is designed with individual suction and liquid line. This design allowed maintaining different chamber at different temperature.
- Within chamber, bellow seal valves are used which is 100% leak proof and provides maximum safety to the stored produce.
- All the chambers have individual accumulator and automatic liquid level control system for the batter plant operating efficiency.
- The entire chamber is monitored by central data logging system which keeps record of temperature at regular interval. This data can be provide to the client who kept their produce in cold storage by giving them confidence for the quality.
- 100% fully standby refrigeration system is provided for the undisrupted operation of the entire plant. This ensure maximum safety of the store produce.
- Entire system is designed with reciprocating compressor with variable capacity control for energy efficient operation.
- Shell & tube condenser system is used to maintain constant discharge temperature resulting in minimum use of electricity. The tubes used are of hot deep galvanized which has longer operating life even in case of poor water quality.
- All air cooling units are made of stainless with aluminum fins for maximum heat transfer and for longer operating life.
Atmosphere Control System:
- Unique carbon dioxide scrubbing system is installed to control level of carbon dioxide in the chamber. This provides batter storage conditions of fresh fruits.
- Fresh air circulation system is provided in the entire chamber to remove odder for alternative storage of the produce.
Blast Freezing with Frozen Storage:
- This facility is useful for storage of frozen fruits & vegetables ( which has huge potential in the region) and this type of setup is only available at this storage.
- Liquid pump refrigerant circulation is provided for higher operation efficiency.
Fruit Ripening System:
- This system is used for natural ripening of fruits and accepted by government standards.
- Following are the advantages of this system.
- Fully automatic temperature control system.
- Ethylene dozing is fully automatic. Dozing can be set as per the requirement.
- Carbon dioxide level is automatically controlled by the system, which prevent softening of fruits.
- Ethylene concretions can be measured in PPM enabling precise dozing of the gas.
- Concentration of ethylene and carbon dioxide is continuously measured by precise instrument resulting in optimum good quality of the produce.
- Ripening cycle can be controlled by this system.
- This system is acceptable by all the food standards.
- Very safe and hygienic process.
- With forced draft air circulation system, uniform ripening of each fruit is possible resulting in uniform color of each fruit
- Installed refrigeration system is design to maintain high humidity within the room which results in minimum weight loss of the produce after ripening process.
